个人介绍
Kai Han is an Assistant Professor in Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests lie in Computer Vision and Deep Learning, spanning topics like novel category discovery, semi-supervised learning, visual correspondence, 3D reconstruction, image matting, photometric stereo, etc. The broad goal of my research is to achieve principled and comprehensive visual understanding for real applications of artificial intelligent systems. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science at University of Bristol. Prior to that, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the great Visual Geometry Group (VGG) at the University of Oxford working with Prof. Andrew Zisserman and Prof. Andrea Vedaldi. He received his Ph.D. degree in Department of Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong advised by Prof. Kenneth K.Y. Wong.
